Troubleshooting
Due to high internet traffic caused by policies put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 there may be issues when trying to install or update Cyber Threat Defender. If you receive any message above the updating bar that says a file was corrupted try to press the "Repair Game" button at the top center area of the CIASLauncher. If that doesn't work try closing and opening the CIASLauncher. If all else fails you'll need to open the folder the CIASLauncher is in, navigate into the "Games" folder and delete the "CyberThreatDefender" folder. Once that is done you will be able to install CTD again through the CIASLauncher.
Changelog for v1.1.0 -- Mar. 18, 2020
Thank you to all of those who have stuck with us along the ride and welcome aboard to all the new comers! This is the first major update of CTD-Digital since we released the open beta. This update comes with changes to the AI, a tutorial, new cards, and plenty of bug fixes. There are still plenty of features we would like to implement in the future, but as a small team with multiple projects, it may take us awhile before CTD-Digital is where we want it to be. With that being said, our future updates will not be so far and few between.
Bug fixes and notes regarding v1.1.0:
The "ISP Connection" card is supposed to allow two Asset - System and/or Asset - Server cards for each copy of "ISP Connection" that you have in play, but it was not updating correctly. This should now be fixed.
The game would break when the player deleted their Starter Deck, because the AI opponents were attempting to load a copy of that deck for their own use. Any modifications that the player made to the Starter Deck were also used by the AI opponents. This has been fixed and the AI opponents should now each have their own decks.
The "losses" statistic was not being recorded correctly. While this has been fixed, there is no way to correct existing profiles... but you're probably okay with that. :) This has been fixed.
Fixed the "Poor Encryption Key" card effect, as it would not correctly remove "Encryption" cards.
Fixed the "Encryption" card, as it requires a target "Wireless Router" and should be attached to that router.
Thank you again for playing Cyber Threat Defender and for providing your feedback!
