Notes for v1.0.0 -- April 3, 2020 Project Cipher aims to teach players about cryptology by allowing them to interact with different ciphers in an entertaining environment. After playing Project Cipher, players will: - Understand the fundamental difference between Transposition and Substitution ciphers while gaining knowledge of cryptology terminology - Learn how to encrypt and decrypt reverse ciphers, atbash ciphers and shift ciphers - Gain critical thinking skills while solving various ciphers - Learn about a STEM discipline The overall goal is for the player to have fun while learning. In order to gauge a player's growth in the subject we've created a test for students to take before and after they play Project Cipher. There is also a survey link within Project Cipher which you and your students can use to provide us with feedback over the game.
