This course prepares participants for the CompTIA Network+ certification examination. The course builds on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer (PC) operating systems and networks to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job in any type of networking career. Participants will identify and describe all the major networking technologies, systems, skills and tools in use in modern PC-based computer networks, and learn information and skills that will be helpful to prepare for the CompTIA Network+ certification examination. Exam registration is not included in this course.
Our Network+ certification prep courses are held on six consecutive Saturdays, totaling 42 hours of in-person instruction, to accommodate the busy working schedules of course participants. Distinguish yourself as a security professional by obtaining the CompTIA Security + Certification. The CompTIA Security + Certification is an internationally recognized credential used by organizations and security professionals around the globe to validate foundation level security skills and knowledge.
The Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security’s (CIAS) preparation course will help you hone and build your existing knowledge of security practices and also adds a hands on component for practical application. The hands-on lab activities reinforce the security principles and demonstrate your competency. In this course, you will build on your existing knowledge, take practice exams to better prepare you for the certification exam and you will practice your skills with simulated hands-on labs.
At the end of the course, you will be able to identify risk and risk mitigation activities. You will understand additional security concepts such as infrastructure, application, information and operational security, cryptography and many more.

Next CISSP Prep Course to be held July 19-August 21, 2021
This live, online lecture course prepares security professionals for the CISSP examination. It covers, in detail, the eight security domains required for the CISSP exam: Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; Security and Risk Management; Software Development Security; Security Engineering; Asset Security; Communication and Network Security; and Identity and Access Management.
The CISSP Prep Course also includes 10 sessions covering real-world problem solving, preventative and management techniques over 40 hours. The course is held one Mondays from 6-9 p.m. CST and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. CST over a six-week period.
