April 17, 2023 General Advice

To help you get started in developing your community’s cybersecurity program, the CIAS-ISAO has four initial, critical steps to guide you. These steps include:

  1. Identifying Champions
  2. Forming a Community Working Group
  3. Identifying Community Cybersecurity Focus Areas
  4. Defining Pathways for Focus Areas

Each step includes specific ways to help you accomplish them. To download a one-page flyer that provides insights into each critical step, CLICK HERE.

The CIAS-ISAO understands that each community is unique, including their goals and capabilities. For more information or help customizing your pathway to a more secure community, please email us at cias@utsa.edu.
