About Julina
Julina Macy has led the marketing and communication efforts of the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) since November 2017. She works with community partners to increase awareness of the center’s cybersecurity information sharing efforts, training initiatives, cyber defense competitions and STEM cybersecurity development programs.
Prior to the CIAS, Macy directed all internal and external communications, marketing initiatives and branding for the Greater Waco Chamber for nearly five years after working at the international franchise organization, The Dwyer Group, where she managed their internal communication efforts. Julina graduated from the University of Houston in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.
